Serve as first line contact to Spires Lacrosse and have general knowledge of club Lacrosse operations.
Provide timely, responsive assistance to all Spires Lacrosse members.
Communicate all Spires Lacrosse correspondence to the club board.
Preside over all meetings and calls of the club.
Ensure Spires Lacrosse is in compliance with club bylaws at all times.
Delegate specific responsibilities to club board members to ensure seamless activity
Can serve as a director in a specific area of programs and operations.
Serve as an active member of the Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse League
Vice President
Have general knowledge of Spires Lacrosse operations.
Preside over all meetings and calls of the club when the President cannot be present.
Take over the responsibilities of the president when necessary.
Ensure Spires Lacrosse is in compliance with club bylaws at all times.
Assist in the delegation specific responsibilities to club board members to ensure seamless activity
Can serve as a director in a specific area of programs and operations.
Secretary
Draft agenda for meetings and calls based on club activities.
Coordinate meetings and calls alongside the president.
Take minutes of all meetings and calls and send to website coordinator to post on the club website.
Assist with compliance paperwork.
Keep an updated list of chapter board members with contact information.
Keep a record of the club bylaws and any other historical documents.
Treasurer
Ideally the treasurer should be, by profession, a CPA. If not, then an individual who has familiarity with financial and tax matters.
QuickBooks is the recommended software for maintaining the club’s financial records.
Assist the club in making sure operations rotate on a fiscal year (July 1 — June 31).
Must be prepared to produce financial statements, including an income statement and a balance sheet, in a format that accurately reflects the operations of the club.
Reconcile the bank or bank accounts of the club on a monthly basis.
Prepare the tax returns, both federal and, as required, local tax returns on an annual basis.

Boy’s Lacrosse Coordinator
Recruit & retain qualified coaches for each age level and season Spires Lacrosse participates.
Pre-season planning and program development.
Develop and maintain a seasonal calendar for boys program.
Coordinate all aspects of play for boys: Spring, Fall, Winter and festival/jamborees opportunities
Coordinate coach’s education including US Lacrosse Level 1/2 education as well as PCA training.
Girl’s Lacrosse Coordinator
Recruit & retain qualified coaches for each age level and season Spires Lacrosse participates.
Pre-season planning and program development.
Develop and maintain a seasonal calendar for girls program .
Coordinate all aspects of play for girls: Spring, Fall, Winter and festival/jamborees opportunities
Coordinate coach’s education including US Lacrosse Level 1/2 education as well as PCA training.
Marketing/Fundraising
Works to increase community awareness of Spires Lacrosse.
Prepares and submits articles and advertisements to local papers, magazines, and other media outlets. (Note: articles should be reviewed with the board prior to submission.)
Create and manage fundraising events or activities to generate funds required for large club purchases (i.e. goals, uniforms)
Uniforms/Apparel
Coordinate the purchase, sale, and distribution of team apparel.
Coordinate the purchase, sale, and distribution of team uniforms.
Equipment/Field Maintenance
Organize, inventory, maintain, purchase and distribute boys and girls player equipment.
Maintain field lines for both games and practices.
Events
Coordinate all club related events. (i.e. season kick-off, picnics)
